Get ready for a surprise! Ethan Hawke is in the Total Recall remake

The more I discover about the Total Recall remake, the more I want to see it.*  With the film less than two months away from release, producer Toby Jaffe revealed an interesting piece of information to "Collider" and "Screen Rant."
Apparently, Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke (Training Day) not only is in the film (which I had no idea about until now) but he plays a major role.  And by major role I mean the main character.  Apparently the difference between this film and the 1990 original is not only has the main character's memory been wiped but his face has also been altered.  Ethan Hawke will play an earlier version of Douglas Quaid while Colin Farrell will play the main version of Douglas Quaid after the memory wipe and face change.
Does that make sense to everyone?  No?  Well come August 3rd it will all make sense.  Hopefully.

*Very interested to see how well Bryan Cranston plays the role of villain Vilos Cohaagen.
