After breaking news that Sam Mendes would return to direct the next two Bond movies, most 007 fans were hoping for either a release date, a title, or a plot description. Instead we've got the next best thing--the next Bond girl.
Academy Award winning actress Penelope Cruz in all her smoking hot glory will be joining Daniel Craig and company for the 24th film in the franchise. That's right. We got her husband Javier Bardem as the baddie in the last film and now we get his wife as the hottie in the next film. No word yet if she will play a good girl or a femme fatale but I could really care less. As long as we see her in a bikini or her underwear at some point it's all good.
Cruz will play the oldest Bond girl ever at 40 but seriously does she look a day over 25? Not to me anyway so who cares?
No timetable yet on when filming will begin but producers are hoping to have the film in theaters by Fall of 2015.
