Kodi Smit-McPhee gets his stinking paws on a role in "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes"

I'm a huge Kodi Smit-McPhee fan.  I thought he was awesome in The Road and I've heard he's just as good in Let me In and Hugo.  Plus he's playing the lead role of Andrew "Ender" Wiggin in this November's Ender's Game, which just happens to be my favorite science fiction book.
Well it looks like the teenage actor has snagged another solid role.  Smit-McPhee will reteam with director Matt Reeves (Let Me In) for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in an undisclosed role.  Zero Dark Thirty's Jason Clarke is also looking to snag a part as well.
Little is known about the plot of the film except that it is set fifteen years after Rise of the Planet of the Apes and that most of mankind has been wiped out.  Filming begins later this year with a release date of May 23, 2014.  Aside from Ender's Game, Smit-McPhee can soon be seen in Romeo & Juliet, The Congress, The Wilderness of James, and A Briber's Guide to Everything.
